Withholding Essential Care

Sometimes when she is proven wrong, Jill claims she “didn't know” something. Like when she claimed she “didn't know” the signs of an infection, including confusion, hallucinations and “crazy dream talking” and therefore didn't know he was sick. Meanwhile, she was giving him cranberry juice for his UTI (literally a Urinary Tract INFECTION). She couldn’t miss that he had an infection because his urine was, as she described it, “Thick and cloudy like green pea soup”. She could have googled the UTI and seen that he needed antibiotics, but instead she waited until he was collapsed on the floor in severe septic shock and his organs were shutting down before taking action. He nearly DIED because of this lack of basic care by his “caretaker”. This is not the first time that she has delayed his medical care to the point where he was nearly dead before getting him help. When the hospital heard that she had delayed care for this infection for over a month after noticing the green pea soup, they flagged his chart for abuse. Nothing came of that either.
